May 10, 2010 — AFC Asset Management Services, Inc. (AFC) has appointed Veska Kita to vice president of financial planning and Tom Sheehy to senior financial adviser. Previously, Kita served as chief corporate counsel for the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Construction for Bulgaria, as a director in the International Department of Human Group Co. in Japan, and also worked as Hamada & Matsumoto in Tokyo. Sheehy held positions with IBM, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and SunTrust Investment Services. AFC is a Registered Investment Advisor based in Gaithersburg.
