May 3, 2010 — James P. Richardson, M.D., M.P.H. Chief of Geriatric Medicine at Saint Agnes Hospital, has been awarded the Individual Partnership Award from the Coalition of Geriatric Services (COGS), which is given annually to both an organization and an individual who have made a significant contribution to the well-being of the older population in the state of Maryland. Dr. Richardson is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society (AGSF), the American College of Preventive Medicine (FACPM) and the American Academy of Family Practice (FAAFP). The Coalition of Geriatric Services is a non-profit organization of public agencies, private companies and individuals who provide services to older adults. Saint Agnes Hospital is a 307-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1862.
