April 29, 2010 — Choice Hotels International has promoted Ronald D. Parisotto to senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, and also appointed Rain Fletcher to vice president of application development and architecture. Parisotto formerly served as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, he worked as a senior consultant for Accenture LTD, and as a senior associate for Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, LLP. Fletcher previously served as principal architect at CedarCrestone, and prior to that, he served as principal systems engineer at Oracle. In addition to this, Fletcher has served as an international keynote speaker on SOA, BPM and Agile Development Methodologies. Choice Hotels International, headquartered in Silver Spring, is one of the largest lodging franchisors in the nation.
