April 16, 2010 — Gregory Cross, an attorney with Veneble, LLP, has been named a “Dealmaker of the Year” by American Lawyer magazine. He was recognized for his role in untangling the major portion of the massive debt load weighing on national shopping mall developer General Growth Properties. Cross chairs Venable’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group and also leads their Commercial Real Estate Servicing practice. Cross currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Central Maryland, and is a member of the American, Federal, Maryland State, and Baltimore City Bar Associations.
