March 25, 2010 — Human Genome Sciences, Inc. a biotechnology company based in Rockville, has named David P. Southwell executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Previously, Southwell was executive vice president and CFO at Sepracor and also served as vice president, Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers. Additionally, he served as a board member for BioSphere Medical, Human Genome Sciences, PTC Therapeutics, and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
