March 22, 2010 — Cheryl Hinton has been appointed as director of Multicultural Affairs at Stevenson University. Previously, Hinton served as a Title III project director for Baltimore City Community College (BCCC). Prior to that time, she served as transfer coordinator for BCCC and continues to teach there as an adjunct faculty member. Hinton is a member of the Griot Circle of Maryland, the Maryland Community Colleges Diversity Roundtable, National Association of Black Storytellers, National Council of Black American Affairs, Wombwork Productions, Inc., and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
