March 17, 2010 — Charmaine Gordon, owner of Synergy Women's Fitness and Synergy Pilates & Yoga in Columbia, and Kwang Chul (KC) Whang, owner of the W Group, have been elected to The Horizon Foundation's Board of Trustees. Gordon previously served as an attorney with the US Department of Labor. Whang serves on the Howard County Economic Development Authority and is a member of the EDA’s Committee for Business and Economic Diversity. The Horizon Foundation is a philanthropy group based in Howard County.
