March 8, 2010 — Robert “Bob” Norman has joined The Washington Group, a general agency of MassMutual, as assistant general agent and chief operations officer. Norman joins The Washington Group from Capital Financial Partners, LLC of Vienna, Va. He also served as marketing director for Security Insurance Group/Textron Corp. and The Travelers Corp., and president and CEO of Membership Services, Inc. He is member of the Naval Reserve Assoc. and US Naval Academy Officers Club and holds the rank of Lieutenant in a training wing of the USNSC, serving as an administrative officer and martial arts instructor, as well as rank of Commander and treasurer in the Sovereign Military Oder of Knights Templar. MassMutual is a mutual life insurance company with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
