Abigail Roddie-Hamlin named "Top 25 Most Influential African Americans" in the healthcare industry

March 4, 2010 — Abigail Roddie-Hamlin, executive vice president of community outreach for the American Cancer Society's South Atlantic Division, has been recognized by Black Health magazine, as one of the "Top 25 Most Influential African Americans" in the healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical and nutritional food industries.   Roddie-Hamlin first worked for the American Cancer Society as a health educator for the San Fernando Valley Unit, Van Nuys, Ca. Later, she joined the Society's Mid-Atlantic Division as the chief operating officer. Most recently, she  served as executive vice president of community outreach. Black Health magazine is a bimonthly healthy living publication, and The American Cancer Society is an organization helping save lives and end the suffering from cancer.
