February 23, 2010 – Argan, Inc. has appointed power industry professional, Daniel L. Martin, as president of its wholly owned subsidiary, Gemma Power Systems. Martin previously served as senior vice president and general manager of the operating division for WorleyParsons, a provider of professional services to the energy sector. Martin also had the opportunity to work with Gemma Power Systems on several combined cycle projects. Based in Rockville, Argan Inc. designs and builds energy plants through its Gemma Power Systems subsidiary.
