February 22, 2009 — Karl Salnoske has been appointed executive vice president of service delivery and CIO of GXS. Previously, Salnoske was the CIO at Schering-Plough, a global pharmaceutical company. Prior to Schering-Plough, Salnoske was president and CEO of a start-up software company called Adaptive Trade, and vice president of IBM's Global Services division. GXS, based in Gaithersburg, is a global provider of B2B e-commerce solutions.
