February 22, 2009 — Legg Mason, Inc. has elected John T. Cahill to its board of directors, and its audit and compensation committees. Most recently, Cahill has been an industrial partner at Ripplewood Holdings, LLC., and the chairman of Hostess Brands, Inc. Prior to that, he held a variety of senior operating and financial positions at PepsiCo Inc., The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc., RKO General and RKO Pictures.
