February 5, 2010 — Anne Y. F. Lin, the founding dean and professor of the new School of Pharmacy at College of Notre Dame of Maryland, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Housing Coalition. Dr. Lin has held a number of positions for higher education institutions, such as: tenured faculty member at St. John’s University, College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Professions, founding chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Wilkes University’s new Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, and dean at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy – Glendale. In addition to several professional memberships abroad, and in the U.S., she is also a founding member of the American Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. The Women’s Housing Coalition is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness for women and children by providing affordable housing and supportive services to enable them to sustain social and financial independence.
