Julie Snyder receives Commander’s Outstanding Citizenship Award on behalf of FMA

November 3, 2009 — Fort George G. Meade Installation Commander COL Daniel Thomas presented Julie Snyder (on behalf of the Alliance) with the Commander’s Outstanding Citizenship Award honoring the Alliance’s exceptional support to the Soldier and Family Assistance Center and the Wounded Warriors on Fort Meade, according to a release. Snyder currently serves as executive director of the Fort Meade Alliance (FMA). Previously, she was the director of Special Projects and Community Relations at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp., and was also a key player in the development of the Chesapeake Innovation Center. The FMA is an advocacy organization for the Anne Arundel County-based Army installation.
