October 26, 2009 — Montgomery County’s most prominent business leaders will join elected officials and other community leaders on November 11th, at the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce 2009 Business Awards Dinner and celebration of the new Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP). Honorees for the Chamber’s 2009 Business Awards will include:

•    Business Leader of the Year – H. Thomas Watkins, president, chief executive officer and director of Human Genome Sciences.
•    Emeritus Business Leader of the Year – Enos Fry, of EFRY Consulting.
•    Small Business Leader of the Year – Judy Stephenson, president of OFFICEPRO, Inc.
•    The Corporate Social Responsibility Award – TerpSys.
•    The Spirit of Free Enterprise Award – Sue Healey, president of MyEyeDr.
•    The Corporate Achievement Award – The JBC Companies.
•    The Verl Zanders Emerging Business of the Year Award – Radius Technology Group.
