October 2, 2009 — Novavax, Inc. has appointed Stanley Erck to their board of directors' corporate governance, compensation and finance committees, replacing board chairman John Lambert on the finance committee and board member James Tananbaum who is retiring from the board. Erck  has served as president, CEO, treasurer and director of IOMAI Corp. Prior to Iomai, Erck served as president and CEO of Procept, a publicly traded immunology company; as vice president, Corporate Development at Integrated Genetics (now Genzyme), and in management positions within Baxter International.  Novavax is a clinical-stage biotechnology company in Rockville.
