October 1, 2009 — Jennifer Fairfax, an expert in domestic, international, gay/lesbian adoptions, and all surrogacy options, now has her own practice, Jennifer Fairfax, LLC, in Silver Spring. Additionally, Fairfax serves as an appointee to the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, representing children in adoption cases and represents adoptive and/or birth parents in contested adoptions. She teaches courses on adoption and assisted reproduction technology for other legal professionals for the Montgomery County Bar Foundation; statewide MICPEL legal education program and the National Business Institute. Previously, she was a senior attorney at Michele Zavos Law Group, and senior assoicate and special counsel at Strickler, Sachitano & Hatfield.
