September 30, 2009 — Intrexon Corp., a privately held life sciences company focused on modular DNA control systems for biotherapeutics and other industry sectors, has appointed Asher M. Rubin as executive vice president, chief legal officer, and secretary. Rubin joins Intrexon from Hogan & Hartson, LLP, where he was a partner in the Corporate and Securities Group. Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Rubin served as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary for Guilford Pharmaceuticals Inc. Rubin will be based at Intrexon's corporate offices in Montgomery County.
