March 11, 2010— The National Press Club and Adfero Group, a public relations company, announced today "Get PR Smart," a series of continuing education events custom-tailored for public relations and communications professionals, according to a press release.
The series will cover a variety of topics including how social media has changed the way reporters, sources and communication professionals interact, as well as learning how to use new, inexpensive technologies to get a client's message in front of the right audience, according to the press release.
"Given th at many of NPC members are non-journalist communication professionals, we're excited to partner with Adfero Group to provide those valued members with timely and relevant training that will help them succeed in an intensely competitive field," said in a statement William McCarren, executive director of the National Press Club.
