November 18, 2009 — Baltimore City’s technology incubator, the Emerging Technology Center (ETC), will be hosting the first Maryland TechCrawl, a technology show and tell event, on December 16. The event is being organized by ETC and two incubator companies, mp3car.com and SmartLogic Solutions.

The event will bring together startup companies, investors, executives, community connectors and local media to forge partnerships, increase visibility and showcase new technologies and get people excited about local technology innovation. Twenty local technology companies will present their products or services.

“We are extremely excited to be hosting the first Maryland Techcrawl,” said Ann Lansinger, President of ETC in a statement. “The economy has been especially challenging for start-ups over the past year, and we really want to create a casual venue that will allow entrepreneurs interact with potential partners, customers and investors.”
